I'm Katherin Hewitt.
I train young horses and coach riders to reach their full potential.

My equestrian program focuses on providing a supportive environment where you’ll crush your riding goals — safely, and with plenty of personalized, individual attention from me and my team.

 

I create a detailed coaching plan for each rider — tailored to your interests and your specific goals.

Gain confidence in your own abilities. Learn strong technical riding skills. Prepare for hunter competitions, show jumping, dressage and eventing. Compete in local and regional competitions. 

And of course, experience the pure joy of equestrianism (what it's really all about!)

 

I train young horses, bring along hunters and jumpers for sale or competition, and create amateur-friendly horses for riders of all ages.

It takes careful preparation and experience to identify each horse’s unique potential — their strengths and pain points — and then take that horse from a wild thing to a polished performer.

Monthly Training Rates

Full training packages begin at $1,200 per month, which includes boarding, feeding and daily care. You’ll receive a personalized training program and lessons to suit you and your horse's unique needs. 

Competition fees, show coaching and horse transport are not included in this rate, but are available at an additional cost. We're happy to work with your vet and farrier or assist you in scheduling with ours.

I began my riding career as a young child in the foothills of the Andes mountains of Chile.

I moved to Chile with my parents, who were on diplomatic assignment in Santiago. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved horses and riding. Professionally trained in show jumping, dressage and eventing, throughout my career I’ve had top-notch coaches and trainers and continue to find support and guidance from some of the best riders and trainers in the international equestrian field.

My training has brought me success in international competitions in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Australia and, of course, in the United States.

I feel passionately that you should never stop learning — always strive to continue improving your skills and expanding your knowledge.
